Statement
Christopher Montoya's work is an amalgamation of traditional and contemporary icons utilizing an array of techniques and mediums. His work includes many notable murals in San Antonio's inner city. He has also in the past been very active in San Antonio's gallery circuit. Montoya serves his community as a young muralist known for depicting historical and cultural icons in an effort to instill pride and awareness to the city's local roots and culture. He is widely known for signature use of Serape and Mesoamerican inspired patterns planted within his work.
